Braking is Fear believes that fear should not hold us back. Fear of failing. Fear of standing out. Fear of being different.
With this project, Kaï Rillaerts wants to respond directly to the challenges young people face today and give them an unforgettable experience.
Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed by stress, loneliness or other challenges? Do you feel that no one really understands what you are going through? Braking is Fear and Kaï Rillaerts want to show you that you are not alone.
Tell us your story - and maybe we'll surprise you soon with an unforgettable experience. A moment when you can let go of everything for a moment and just enjoy.
Why are we doing this?
Together, we can create a movement that goes beyond racing, beyond content. It is a message of hope, resilience and connection. Thanks to Kaï's reach on Social Media, we want to appeal to a wide audience to make a social difference, because together we can!
Why is this important?
More and more young people in Flanders are struggling with mental health problems. Although 9 in 10 young people are satisfied with their lives, a significant number report complaints such as stress, sleep problems, and loneliness. About 1 in 6 young people feel lonely, and 1 in 10 have mental or behavioral problems that require professional help.
These figures show that young people's mental well-being is under pressure and that there is an urgent need for initiatives that support them and offer hope.
Real stories from our fans
“I've been following your context for 2 years now and I've found that everything you show fans and including me can really make me happy. I have been in a dark valley mental and partly because of your content and your sport climbed out of it. So I wanted to say thank you for what you've brought me.”
